ONLINE THERAPY (TELEHEALTH)

Telehealth Exercise Physiology

Can't make it in-person? That's fine! :)

We will conduct a virtual session with a patient using video conferencing technology. This method of communication allows us to interact without being physically present in the same location.

What does Online Therapy (Telehealth) look like?

Introduction and Check-In: We will starts the session by inquiring about the your overall well-being, pain levels, and any specific concerns you may have since the last session.

Review of Progress: We will discuss the progress made since the last in-person or video call or in person session. We will inquire about the effectiveness of previous exercises or treatment strategies and make adjustments as necessary.

Visual Assessment: We will ask you to perform specific movements or exercises on our call to assess your range of motion, mobility, posture, or any specific issues. We will then provide feedback therapist based on our observations.

Exercise Demonstration: If needed, we will introduce new exercises or stretches, demonstrated during the video call. We will ensure the you understand the correct form and technique for each exercise.

Question and Answer: Any questions you might have related to your condition, treatment plan, or home exercises can be answered via Online Check-In.

Treatment Plan Adjustment: Based on the virtual assessment and progress review, we might adjust your treatment plan or modify existing exercises to better suit your needs.

Setting Goals: We will collaboratively set realistic short-term and long-term goals for your rehabilitation or recovery moving forward.

Follow-Up and Next Steps: We will summarise the session and discusses the frequency of future video call check-ins or whether an in-person visit is necessary at some point.
